My name is Mrs. Kroopneck and I am the 7th/8th grade mathematics teacher at Brennan-Rogers: The Art of Communication and Media Magnet School. I am extremely excited to work with my students on discovering their inner strengths in mathematics by tapping into topics, ideas and activities that inspire learning. I've always had a passion for mathematics and since 2002 I have taught math to grade level, college and adult students at all ability levels. I truly enjoy teaching math! I received a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master's Degree in Education with a specialty in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
Aside from my passion for mathematics I also enjoy traveling, spending time with family and loved ones, and being in nature. I've traveled many different states throughout the country as well as visited Spain, Moldova, Russia, Israel, Italy and Switzerland. During my free time I like to hike on various trails throughout Connecticut.
